After examining your facial expressions and areas of concern, you and your provider will decide on the areas to treat. A very tiny needle is used to inject the product into the wrinkle-producing muscles. Botox is not painful, no anesthesia is required and the injections take 5 to 10 minutes. You may see some redness and small bumps for about 10 minutes after the injection. Bruising is rare and you can apply make-up immediately. It takes three to five days to see an effect and up to 3 weeks to see the maximum results. Results typically last about three months. In the ideal world, clients get Botox every 3-4 months but getting Botox even once or twice a year is a nice way to soften and prevent deep lines.
Clients request Botox initially to soften lines but often the reason for continuing treatment is because of the awesome lift they get around the eyes and mouth!
