Most wrinkles are actually creases worn into the skin from making the same expressions over and over. Getting rid of crow’s feet around your eyes, washboard lines on your forehead, perma-frowned mouth, or divots between your eyebrows – these are the most popular procedures at Cosmetic Skin & Laser Center. BOTOX™ or Dysport® injections smooth these areas by selectively blocking muscle contraction. Results can be seen within 2 days of treatment and generally lasts 4 months. It’s quick and easy, the perfect lunchtime break.

Dermal Fillers

Perlane®, Restylane®, Radiesse®, Juvederm Ultra plus®

Our FDA-approved dermal fillers provide instant and long-lasting deep wrinkle correction. Dermal fillers are commonly used to restore volume and fullness to the face, correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles, enhance or define lips, and turn up a down-turned mouth. After local or topical anesthetic, we use an ultrafine needle to inject a filler beneath the skin of the problem area. Results are immediate and last for 6-18 months depending on the chosen filler…some even stimulate your own collagen growth!

Skin Tightening (with Ulthera)

Ultherapy

Looking for skin tightening without surgery, downtime or needles? This revolutionary FDA approved treatment (a non-surgical alternative to a facelift) uses focused ultrasound to lift, firm, and tighten the skin on the face and neck. Ultherapy sends micro-focused ultrasound waves deep into the skin, which causes the tissue to contract and tighten. In 8-12 weeks, you will see even more results as your body naturally builds new collagen on the inside, without disturbing the skin on the outside. CSLC has been offering Ultherapy since 2010. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) energy was featured in the Wall Street Journal as the treatment for those desiring a few years off their skin. IPL is generally used for three reasons.

To minimize redness or broken blood vessels in the cheeks, nose and other areas
To erase dark or defined “age spots” that are too deep for peels or products
To reduce pores, age spots, and mild acne scars without “downtime”

IPL and exfoliation treatments are often combined in a treatment series. Spaced 1-2 weeks apart, a series consists of 10 lunchtime treatments (30-60 min. each) with no downtime. Realize radiant, glowing skin, while pore size, facial redness and age spots are generally reduced nearly 80%. Long-lasting results.

Smartlift

Wearing a lot of scarves lately to hide your neck? Sagging neck skin and drooping joules no longer need to be an accepted effect of aging. We can offer help with three SMARTlift options that offer a refreshed look:

Ulthera/FX
This treatment is ideal for someone who is noticing some early sagging and joules and needs skin rejuvenation (improvement in sun damage, texture, wrinkles, pores, acne scarring).
No incisions but 5-7 days of healing time from FX.

Ulthera/Smartneck
This treatment is ideal for someone who is mainly noticing skin sagging in the joules and neck but who doesn’t want to do a traditional facelift or neck lift. This treatment will not do skin rejuvenation.

FX/Smartneck
This treatment is ideal for someone who needs skin rejuvenation (improvement in sun damage, texture, wrinkles, pores, acne scarring) and has some skin laxity under the chin.

Active FX for Eyes

Active FX is commonly used on the eyelids and crow’s feet to smooth out wrinkles and tighten aging eyelid skin. This one time treatment rejuvenates the eye area in about 15 minutes and is a great alternative to surgery for some patients. The treatment is followed by 3-5 days of some swelling and redness. Results generally last for a couple of years. For the most dramatic results, patients combine Active FX with Botox® or Dysport®.

CO2 Fractional Laser

Perhaps you’ve suffered from acne scarring, spent too much time in the sun, or are just aging a little too quickly for your comfort…Total FX Fractional Laser is the gold standard of skin rejuvenation. While featured on The Today Show and The Doctors, the University of Michigan says this revolutionary treatment will “change the way sun damaged, scarred, and wrinkled skin is treated for years to come.” In just 1-2 treatments, Total FX combines fractionated laser therapy with the gold standard CO2 laser to tighten skin, reduce deep wrinkles and acne scarring, and erase sun spots. Many patients elect to have sun-damaged skin on their neck and chest/décolleté area treated as well. Healing time is generally 5-7 days with some redness and minimal peeling. One week later you’ll be looking smoother, brighter, and you’ll see continued improvement for 3-6 months.
